The basic Inspection Package offers a Sony Alpha 5100 system camera capable of recording images of up to 24 megapixels and filming at 1080 p. With its optically stabilised lens and in-flight controllable optical zoom (16-50 mm), high-resolution detailed images can be obtained, e.g. for finding and evaluating damaged areas. The Sony Alpha 5100 combines excellent image and video performance with compact dimensions and light weight. Actuation, starting and stopping the recording function can all be controlled remotely from the ground station.
The innovative 2-axes camera gimbal of the INSPECTOR S allows you directing the sensor unit upwards as well as downwards. Accordingly, views from below, of immense usefulness when inspecting, say, a bridge, can be obtained just as easily as views from above, such as are used for surveying and monitoring.
Using integrated waypoint navigation, the INSPECTOR S can fly pre-programmed routes automatically when in GPS mode. This offers the advantage of repeating exactly the same flight path at any chosen time.
Also included is the INSPECTOR S transport case set offering numerous useful functions. So, the flight system incl. all accessories can be securely and easily transported even on aircrafts. The drone is always well packed in this transport case.
At the site of use, the case can be converted by means of pluggable legs into a useful table, on which the INSPECTOR S can be placed safely and protected from dust and dirt. The batteries can be quickly changed at a comfortable height.
The Inspection Package also includes a charging unit and other accessories. Following suitable instruction in the flight system, any professional commercial drone pilot can go fully airborne for technical applications using the Inspection Package.
Further components can also usefully be added to the package. A second ground station can be added to allow a second person to operate the sensor unit. This makes it possible for inspections to be efficiently performed by a team.
The Inspection Package already includes a detailed introduction training into the flight system. This training package also contains a four-day CP-UAS pilot training at the SPECTAIR ACADEMY and optional subsequent certification by certifying body TÜV Rheinland, a training device for capturing the first flying experiences, and extensive information to facilitate getting started with professional applications.
Lightweight, highly stable and proven in aircraft building, the aluminium construction makes the INSPECTOR S a robust working tool.
For greater safety: collision protection that is easy to attach when needed.
Optimal navigation and positioning by means of a precision GNSS module: the position data offers a straightforward method of geo-referencing the captured data.
The compact entry-level solution for technical applications – as a ready-to-fly package.
For straightforward workflows in capturing geodata serving as basis for surveying, mapping and for the preparation of 3D terrain models etc.: the INSPECTOR S in a package including an optimised sensor system, software and training to allow users to get started quickly.
High-quality thermography as a system solution: the INSPECTOR S with dual sensor unit – an infra-red camera and a HD camera. This package affords an efficient and cost-effective entry into professional thermal image capturing.
Environmental monitoring, vegetation monitoring and precision farming: the INSPECTOR S together with the MicaSense Red Edge allow you to perform precise analyses from the air.

If the task requires it, the INSPECTOR S can be easily fitted with a clip-on anti-collision shield. For indoor flights in particular, collision protection offers additional safety.
For real teamwork: the INSPECTOR S can optionally be supplied with an additional ground station for the co-pilot, who operates the sensor system and the camera mount.
Pre-selected and prepared high-performance batteries in impact-resistant housings.
Allowing a more direct perspective, video glasses give the wearer an immediate view of the live image from the INSPECTOR S.
The perfect aid for uncomplicated collaborative work: the cover of the accessory case contains a daylight-viewable 21″ display to relay the live image being captured. All team members can thus follow the view.
